This Privacy Policy is drawn up in accordance with Law of the Republic of Moldova no. 195 of 25.07.2024 on the protection of personal data (applicable from 23 August 2026), which transposes Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR). It describes how we collect, use, store and protect your personal data, as well as your rights.

2. What data we collect

Identification and contact data: first name, last name, e-mail address, phone number, delivery and billing address.

Order and payment data: ordered products, order history and data required to process payment. Full bank card details are processed directly by the payment service provider and are not stored on our servers.

Technical and usage data: IP address, browser type and version, pages visited, date and time of access, referral source and data collected through cookies and similar technologies.

3. Legal bases for processing

We process your data on the following legal bases provided by Law no. 195/2024:

  • Performance of a contract — to process and deliver orders;
  • Consent — for statistics/marketing cookies and commercial communications (newsletter);
  • Legal obligation — for accounting and tax records;
  • Legitimate interest — for website security, fraud prevention and service improvement.

4. Purposes of processing

  • processing, delivery and management of orders;
  • communication with you regarding orders and support requests;
  • sending commercial communications, only with your consent;
  • analysis and improvement of the website;
  • compliance with legal obligations.

5. Cookies and similar technologies

Cookies are small files stored on your device that enable the website to function, remember preferences and analyse usage. We also use similar technologies (pixels, local storage).

Categories of cookies we use:

  • Functional (strictly necessary) — ensure the basic operation of the site (cart, session, security). Always active, as the site cannot work without them; no consent required.
  • Preferences — remember your choices (e.g. language). Activated only with consent.
  • Statistics — help us understand how the site is used (e.g. Google Analytics / Google Tag Manager). Activated only with consent.
  • Marketing — used for advertising and remarketing. Activated only with consent.

Legal basis: functional cookies rely on technical necessity; preference, statistics and marketing cookies are processed solely on the basis of your consent, in accordance with Law no. 195/2024.

Consent and withdrawal: on your first visit we display a banner allowing you to accept, decline or configure the categories. Statistics and marketing cookies (including Google services) are not loaded before consent is given. You can change or withdraw your consent at any time via the “Settings” button in the cookie banner.

Duration: cookies may be session cookies (deleted when you close the browser) or persistent (kept for a set period). You can also control or delete cookies in your browser settings; blocking some cookies may affect the site’s functionality.

6. Disclosure of data and processors

We may share data with categories of third parties that provide services to us as processors: courier and delivery companies, payment service providers, web hosting and web analytics providers (e.g. Google). They process the data exclusively on our instructions. We may also disclose data where required by law or to protect rights and safety.

7. International data transfers

Some services used (e.g. Google services) may involve transferring data outside the Republic of Moldova. In such cases we ensure appropriate safeguards in accordance with Law no. 195/2024.

8. Retention period

We keep data only for as long as necessary for the purposes for which it was collected: order data — for the period required by accounting and tax legislation; data processed on the basis of consent — until consent is withdrawn; technical data — for limited periods according to the settings of the services used.

9. Data security

We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect data against unauthorised access, loss or disclosure. The website uses a secure connection (HTTPS).

10. Your rights

Under Law no. 195/2024 you have the following rights:

  • the right of access to your data;
  • the right to rectification;
  • the right to erasure (“right to be forgotten”);
  • the right to restriction of processing;
  • the right to object, including to processing for marketing purposes;
  • the right to data portability;
  • the right to withdraw consent at any time.

11. Right to lodge a complaint

If you believe your rights have been infringed, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority — the National Center for Personal Data Protection (CNPDCP), datepersonale.md.

12. Minors

Our service is not directed to minors. We do not knowingly collect data from minors without the consent of a legal representative, in accordance with Law no. 195/2024. If we learn that such data has been collected without a legal basis, we will delete it.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be published on this page, indicating the date of the last update.
